Use

In this IMG activity, you define standard events for tracking the progress of one or more components or of an order schedule line.

In addition to the standard events you define in Customizing, you can also define events in the application. However, standard events have functions that the events you define in the application do not have. Standard events can be grouped in the Define Event Scenarios for Networks IMG activity.

Activities

  1. Allocate each standard event a key and a description, and assign them a ranking for sorting. Sorting determines the order in which the events are placed in the Progress Tracking overview.
  2. For each date type of an event, you can determine the following:
    • If the date type can be maintained manually
    • If it is referenced and only supplied with data via an enhancement
    • If it is referenced and supplied with data via an enhancement, but can still be maintained in Progress Tracking
