Use

In this IMG activity, you define standard events for tracking the progress of one or more components or of an order schedule line.

As well as the standard events you define in Customizing, you can also define events in the application. Standard events have functions that are not shared by events you define in the application, however. Standard events can be grouped to form an event scenario, for example.

Activities

Allocate a key and description to each standard event, and assign it a ranking for sorting. Sorting determines the order in which the events are positioned in the Progress Tracking overview.

For each date type of an event, you can determine whether the date type:

  • Can be maintained manually
  • Is referenced and only supplied with data using an enhancement
  • Is referenced and supplied with data using an enhancement, and can be processed in Progress Tracking.
