When the EBC (estimated book cost) index series that will be assigned to the JVA company has been defined, you should enter values for the series by year.
Example
The index series is used to represent the inflationary increase in replacement values year by year. The rates entered by year are applied as percentages. If the price of the item is to be increased by 5% for a year, the value should be entered as 105%. The following provides an example of a partial set of values for an index series.

Standard settings
When you have entered annual values for the EBC index series, you should assign this series to the JVA company on the Company Detailed Data screen.
Recommendation
Activities
To enter annual values for the EBC index series, select Index Figures on the Asset Accounting Index Series screen, and enter years and index values in the appropriate fields.
