Use

In this IMG activity you define standard events that are used to monitor important steps in the progress of one or more components, or purchasing order schedule lines.

In addition to the standard events that you create in Customizing, you can also create events in the application itself. However, standard events have functions that events created in the application do not. For example, standard events can be collected together in event scenarios.

Activities

  1. Give each standard event a name and description and assign it a sorting rank. The sorting rank determines in which order the events are arranged in the Progress Tracking overview.
  2. For an event, you can define whether each date type:
    • Can be maintained manually
    • Is referenced and supplied with data by the user exit only
    • Is referenced and supplied with data by the user exit, but can also be maintained in Progress Tracking
