In this step, you create the plan versions you need for your operations.
Plan versions enable you to maintain and administer multiple plans simultaneously in the system. As a rule, one plan version contains details of your day-to-day operations. Other plan versions can be used to experiment with various scenarios, to carry out simulations, and for comparison purposes.
Standard settings
The standard SAP R/3 System delivers some preset plan versions.
Activities
Create the plan versions you require.
Notes
If you use Room Reservation Management integrated with other Personnel Management components or with Training and Event Management, you must flag one of your plan versions as the 'active' plan version.
You do so in Customizing for Training and Event Management in the step Set active plan version or in the pertinent step under Global Settings for Personnel Management.
