In this step, you maintain the settings required for selecting data to be exported from SAP Retail.

You can specify whether the system should retrieve the purchase prices, the sales prices, the sales volume data and stock data for materials.

If the sales volume data is read, you must indicate the selection variant to be used, the return fields for the sales volume value and quantity, and the number of periods of the selection.
If the stock data is read, you must specify the selection variant and the return field for the stock.
The function module for data export must also be entered.

Standard settings

Three function modules are available in the standard system as a reference:

• Call the space management program (SMP) and export key parameters.
  Function module ws_execute calls an external program to which the key parameters are passed via the commando line. The local directory in which the program is installed must be entered when ws_execute is called. These key parameters are imported to the space management program (SMP). For further information, please refer to the function documentation.
• Call SMP without export of key parameters.
  The function module document_show_direct is called. If a new layout module is created, the SMP is started via the function module ws_execute. In calling the function module, you must enter the path on which the SMP is installed. If the layout module already exists, the document assigned to the layout module in document management is displayed. If more than one document is assigned to the layout module, you can select one. For further information, please refer to the function module documentation.
• Data export via OLE to MS Excel.
  MS Excel is started and the data for the materials selected (including header data) exported via OLE. The function module executing the export is shelf_space_opt_MsExcel_exe. For further information, please refer to function module documentation.
