In this step, you maintain selection variants for material movement data.
You must create a selection variant for stock, sales volume and sales quantity data, defining which information structures and fields are to be used for selecting data.
In maintaining the selection variant header, you must enter the value 05 (shelf management) in the "AA" field.
The material number is a compulsory field for selecting stock, sales volume and sales quantity data.
Either a plant or a customer must be selected.
In the step "Fields in selection variant", the field use is defined.
For the system to find stock and sales data, you must enter a selection period that has to be the same as the selection period of the information structure.
You have to maintain a range parameter entry for every selection field. You can name it as you like. No two names should be the same within the one selection variant.
