Use
This IMG activity refers to function codes that change the status of a claim item grouping (such as Approve, Cancel, Reject).
In this IMG activity you define the activity against which an authorization check takes place for these function codes. For example, if you assign the activity of Accept to function code ICLH_APPROVE (Approve) the following applies:
As soon as a user in the application wants to approve a claim item grouping (by selecting the function code ICLH_APPROVE for Approve), the system checks whether the user has authorization for the assigned activity (Accept, in this case).
- If the user has authorization, he/she can approve the claim item grouping.
- If the user does not have authorization, function code ICLH_APPROVE (Approve) is not displayed at all, or the user receives the message that he/she does not have authorization for approval.
The authorization object against which a check takes place is I_ICL_PROC.
Requirements
Standard settings
SAP predefines the function codes that change the status of a claim item grouping. However, you can define your own customer-specific function codes that change the status. Consider the following:
This table contains entries that are used by the programs in the Claims Management component. Changing or deleting entries supplied by SAP constitutes a modification to the program. Such modifications are generally not necessary and should be avoided, as they can lead to errors.
You can create new entries in the customer namespace (identifier begins with "Y" or "Z"). These usually only have an effect on the component if you program using these values in the corresponding extensions of the program.
Activities
Assign the required activity from authorization object I_ICL_PROC to the relevant function code.
