Use

In this IMG activity, you run a report for the creation and adjustment of the route table, which includes possible node combinations for all resource types with corresponding distance and duration calculations.

You should run the report in the following cases:

  • After initial customization
  • After adjustment of site metrics or any other objects defined in the activities mentioned below under Requirements.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. After initial customization, the report fills in data for route table LROUT. Each entry includes:
    • From node
    • To node
    • Resource type
    • Distance calculation, based on metrics defined at the site level
    • Duration calculation according to resource type velocity

      The number of possible node combinations per resource type is 2n, where n is the number of relevant zones. For more information on how the system determines these combinations, see the Routing chapter in the SAP Library for TRM.


  2. After each adjustment, the report updates table LROUT.

Further notes

You can run the report either on the customizing client and transport to the productive client, or directly on the productive client after the customizing adjustment transport.
