Use

In this IMG activity, you make the general settings that affect TRM by doing the following:

  • Defining and configuring different sites
  • Defining the various activites that can be performed in each site.
  • Defining internal and external reason codes for exceptions in TRM.

Example

Requirements

You have already defined the following in Customizing for Logistics Execution:

  • Difference indicators in Warehouse Management IMG activity Confirmation, which enable the reporting of differences during task execution. The difference indicators are displayed as internal reason codes in the current IMG activity.
  • Two-step confirmation at warehouse, storage type and movement type levels in activity Confirmation.

Standard settings

Standard stock transfer activities and reason codes are provided.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Define your sites. In the appropriate number range fields, enter two-digit identifiers. You use these identifiers when you subsequently define the number ranges.
  2. Define the sites' activities. If you support operations (such as labeling and shrink wrapping) in your site, you must define them here.
  3. Define internal and external reason codes.
