Use

In this IMG activity, you define personalization profiles to ensure that all data displayed on the screen is adjusted to meet the requirements of a particular user or groups of users. You can subsequently define the following for each personalization profile:

When defining a resource element via the Resource Element Maintenance wizard, you enter a personalization profile to be used when the resource element logs on to the system.

You have already defined the menu catalog in IMG activity Define Menus.

Standard settings

Recommendation

Define the menu catalog and then define the personalization profile in this activity. After you have finished defining the personalization profile, return to IMG activity Define Menus and define the menu tree.

Activities

  1. Enter the number of your site.
  2. Do the following for each personalization profile that you define for the site:
    1. In the Personal. field, enter a two-digit identifier for the personalization profile. We recommend that you define presentation profile **, since it is provided with a function code profile in the standard system.
    2. In the Main Menu field, enter the name of the menu that you wish to appear on a worker's presentation device after log-on.
    3. Enter text descriptions for the presentation profile.
