Use
In this IMG activity, you define personalization profiles to ensure that all data displayed on the screen is adjusted to meet the requirements of a particular user or groups of users. You can subsequently define the following for each personalization profile:
- Menu tree in IMG activity Define Menus
- Function and verification profiles in IMG activity Control Screen Layout
When defining an RF user via the Define RF Users monitor method, you enter a personalization profile to be used when the user logs on to the system.
Requirements
You have already defined the menu catalog in IMG activity Define Menus.
Recommendation
Define the menu catalog and then define the personalization profile in this activity. After you have finished defining the personalization profile, return to IMG activity Define Menus and define the menu tree.
Activities
Do the following for each personalization profile that you define:
- In the Personal. field, enter a two-digit identifier for the personalization profile. We recommend that you define presentation profile **, since it is provided with a function code profile in the standard system.
- In the Main Menu field, enter the name of the menu that you wish to appear on a worker's presentation device after log-on.
- Enter text descriptions for the presentation profile.
