Use

In this IMG activity, you define combinations of fields from condition tables for VAS template determination.

You subsequently establish a relationship between values in these fields and VAS templates. The different values represent different conditions, the fulfillment of which triggers the system to create VAS orders based on the applicable VAS templates.

Example

You could make a VAS template dependent on the material to be sent, and the customer to whom it will be sent. When the conditions are met, the system automatically creates a VAS order based on this template.

Do not change the condition tables already contained in the standard system.

Activities

  1. Choose Display characteristics combination for search key.
  2. Check the extent to which you can use the condition tables already contained in the standard system.
  3. Go back and choose Permitted characteristics.
  4. Check whether the fields available in the field catalog are sufficient for your requirements. If you want to use a field that is not contained in the field catalog, copy it to the field catalog. You can only copy fields that are contained in the table KOMGP
  5. Go back and choose Create characteristics combination for search key.
  6. Create a new condition table from the beginning or based on an existing table. To create a new condition table based on a similar table:
    1. In the Table field under Copy from condition, enter the table number.
    2. Choose the edit pushbutton and enter the name of the table that you want to create. Note that you can only use names between 501 and 999. If you make no entry, the system automatically assigns a sequence number in the customer namespace.
    3. If you want to create the table with a period of validity, select With validity period.
    4. Select each of the fields that you require by choosing the field in the FieldCatlg column and then choosing Select field.
  7. Generate the condition table.
