Use
In this IMG activity, you map bin structures to TRM zones and XYZ coordinates.
Requirements
- You have defined storage bin structures in Customizing for Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Master Data -> Storage Bins -> Define Storage Bin Structure.
- You have copied these structures to TRM in Customizing for Task and Resource Management -> Master Data -> Site Map Management -> Enhance Warehouse Management Objects -> Copy Storage Bin Definition Rules for Mass Maintenance.

Activities
For each of the bin structures, double-click the corresponding line and enter the following details:
- The start and end values, as well as an increment for each group of bins, as defined in Customizing for Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Master Data -> Storage Bins -> Define Storage Bin Structure
- The XYZ coordinates of the first bin in the structure
- The XYZ increments, being the difference, in terms of XYZ coordinates, between each bin in the structure
- The relationship between the XYZ coordinates and the bin structure.
- If the storage bins coordinates are not created in a sequence that runs parallel to the X or Y axis defined for your warehouse, in the Orientation field specify an angle representing the number of degrees that your storage bins are shifted in comparison to the X axis.
- The zone that you defined in IMG activity Define Zones, Operations and Serving Zones, in which the bins are located
- Choose Change Bins. The system displays a list of all the bins to be changed.
- To verify that this is the correct structure, choose Change XYZ and Zones.
Example
Regarding the previous example, if you enter the following:
- A start value coordinate of (9,34,0)
- A as representing Y in the bin structure and B as representing Z in the bin structure
- 1.5 as the Y increment and 2.0 as the Z increment,
then this will result in:
- The second set of numbers in the bin structure (AA) increasing by the increment (01), corresponding to an increase of 1.5 in the Y coordinates.
- The third set of numbers in the bin structure (BB) increasing by the increment (01), corresponding to an increase of 2 in the Y coordinates
Since bin 01-01-01 has an XYZ coordinate of 9, 34, 0 and XYZ increments of 0, 1.5, 2 , bin 01-02-02 has an XYZ coordinate of 9, 35.5, 2.
