With this activity you define the resolution order (priority) in which info objects from different version contexts are displayed. You need it to display info objects from one or more enhancement contexts as well as SAP standard info objects in your SAP System.
When you call the online help (application help and SAP Library), this resolution order is analyzed. Info object versions of the "most specific" (enhancement) contexts are displayed before the versions of the more general contexts.
Example
In a 4.5B SAP system you want to display your own documentation that you developed in an enhancement context "OurHelp 4.5B" in the Knowledge Warehouse based on the 4.5B standard context in addition to the documents of the standard Release 4.5B SAP Library.
Enter context "OurHelp 4.5B" as enhancement context in field "Add On ID" and leave field "Basis Add On" empty. This defines the resolution order "OurHelp 4.5B" - "SAP 4.5B" .
You also installed the SAP industry solution IS-U in this 4.5B SAP system and developed your own documentation about their functions in an enhancement context "OurHelp_IS-U" based on enhancement context "SAP IS-U".
Also make the following entries:
- "OurHelp_IS-U" (Add On ID) and "SAP IS-U" (Basis Add On)
- "SAP IS-U" (Add On ID) and "OurHelp 4.5B" (Basis Add On)
This defines the resolution order "OurHelp_IS-U" - "SAP IS-U" - "OurHelp 4.5B" - "SAP 4.5B".

- Enter the name of an enhancement context in field "Add On ID".
- Enter the name of the context whose versions should be displayed in field "Basis Add On" if no info object is found for the context entered under "Add On ID".
If this is the standard context, leave field "Basis Add On" empty.
Make sure that the enhancement contexts that are entered do not contain any gaps.
Further notes
If you use help type "DynamicHelp" for the online help in your SAP system, where the help documents are displayed dynamically from the Knowledge Warehouse system, enhancement contexts occurring in the resolution order defined here must exist in the Knowledge Warehouse system as enhancement contexts (see Enhancements in the section "Settings in the Knowledge Warehouse System").
