With this activity you define assignment rules which are used to assign certain contents to be exported to certain Windows NT export servers (destinations).

Activities

  1. Choose "Create destination".
  2. Describe the contents on a certain server that are to be exported by defining the (information) area, R/3 release, (source) language, enhancement, (enhancement) release, and technical name (of folders) fields. If you do not define these fields, all the contents are exported to your destination.
  3. Define the destination to which the described contents should be exported in the "Dest no." field using the input help.
  4. Save the data.

Further notes

The "Priority" and "Variant" fields are only relevant if you activated automatic generation of the static help for contents that were imported to a dedicated Knowledge Warehouse consolidation system.

If you installed and configured multiple export servers (destinations), you can define multiple assiginment rules and thus assign different contents to different export servers.
