Use

In this IMG activity you configure the searches that are possible in the Search Framework.

You can configure searches of the following search category:

In IMG activity Configure Search Integration you can assign searches configured here to a search event.

Requirements

Depending on the search category, the following prerequisites apply in the system:

  • Search via function module

    You have created the search function modules that you want to use.

  • Search via query

    You have created the queries that you want to use.

  • Search via BDT application object

    You have configured the BDT search in the relevant client and generated it.

  • Search sequence

    You have already created the assigned (single) searchs in the system.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. On the initial screen enter the search application and the search category.
  2. Confirm your entries with Continue.

    The system navigates to maintenance dialog of the relevant search category.

  3. In the relevant maintenance dialog you can perform the following activities:
    • Change or delete existing searches
    • Create new searches
  4. Save your settings.
