Use

In this IMG activity you can import an object category for a category of insured object and a type of insured object.

Requirements

You have stored the file from which the object catalog should be read on the presentation server or application server.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Enter both the category and type of insured object.
  2. Enter the full path of the file from which the object catalog should be read.

    The following rules apply:

    • If the file is on the presentation server, the path begins with a drive letter and semi-colon.
    • If the file is on the application server, the file name begins directly with "/".
  3. Enter the function module for loading the object catalog.

    By default, SAP provides function module ICL_SAMPLE_GDV_READ as an example. This function module imports the automobile type class list provided by the German Insurance Association (GDV).

  4. Set one of the following indicators:
  5. Choose @15@ with the quick info text Execute.
