  • Settings for screen layout (menu path Screen Layout -> <relevant entry>)

    You can create the following BDT objects here:

    • Field Groups
    • Views
    • Sections
    • Screens
    • Screen Sequences
  • Assignment of views (menu path Control-> Divisibility -> Role Categories or Data Set)

    If you have created new views, you have to assign them to a role category here.

    You can also assign these views to a data set.

  • Creation of GUI Function Codes (menu path Control -> GUI Additional Functions)

    Here you can create new GUI function codes.

  • Definition of function modules for events (menu path Control -> Events -> BDT Events or ICL Events)

    Here you can store the relevant event function modules for the BDT events or ICL events.

  • Definition of own applications (menu path Control -> Applications)
  • Generation of screen containers (menu path Environment -> Generate Screen Containers)

All other settings in this transaction are not relevant for BDT customizing.
