Use
In this IMG activity you can create own reasons for changing a reserve in addition to those prescribed by SAP.
If you manually change the reserve on the Reserve screen in claims processing, you must specify a reason for doing so. You select one of the reserve change reasons defined here
Requirements
Standard settings
This table contains entries that are used by the programs in the Claims Management component. Changing or deleting entries supplied by SAP constitutes a modification to the program. Such modifications are generally not necessary and should be avoided, as they can lead to errors.
You can create new entries in the customer namespace (identifier begins with "Y" or "Z"). These usually only have an effect on the component if you program using these values in the corresponding extensions of the program.
SAP delivers the following standard reserve change reasons:
Key Name Use
00 Initial reserve Always set when a reserve is set for the first time (regardless of method used)
01 Other report data If the reserve was set statistically, and another statistical reserve must be set because of changed report data
02 Other claim item If the reserve was calculated from the claim items and the claim items have changed
03 Adjustment to payment If a payment is larger than the remaining reserve, and the total expenditure must be adjusted accordingly
The system needs the reserve change reasons prescribed by SAP for reserves set automatically by the system. However, you can also use them for manually set reserves.
Own-defined reserve change reasons, on the other hand, can only be used for manually set reserves.
