Use

In this IMG activity you can define own text objects and text IDs for text templates for notes.

The text object forms the superordinate category, and the associated text IDs form the sub-categories within a text object.

In IMG activity Create Sample Text Modules, you create sample text modules for the text objects and text IDs defined here. These are then used for the text templates for notes.

Requirements

Standard settings

  • You can also use the standard text object TEXT and the standard text ID ST. However, this would then make the assignment of sample text modules to text templates much less clearer, as many text modules are assigned to this standard combination.
  • This table contains entries that are used by the programs of the Claims Management component. Changing or deleting entries delivered by SAP constitutes a modification of the program. Such modifications are generally not necessary and should be avoided as they can lead to errors.

    But you can create new entries in the customer name space (identifier begins with Y or Z).

Activities

  1. On the SAPscript Settings initial screen, set the Text Objects and IDs indicator and choose Change.
  2. Enter a text object.

    You have the following options:

    • You can create your own text object.
      • To do so, choose @0Y@ with the quick info text Create.
    • You can use an existing text object.
  3. Mark the relevant text object and choose Text IDs.

    The Change Text IDs for Text Object <relevant text object> screen appears.

  4. You can create as many text IDs as you like for each text object.

    To do so, choose @0Y@ with the quick info text Create.

  5. Save your data.

Example

You create a text object ZNOTE for notes.

You create the following text IDs for the text object ZNOTE:

  • HOME - note templates for home contents
  • AUTO - note templates for automobile insurance
  • ACC - note templates for accident insurance
