In this IMG activity you can define the collective accounts for statutory reporting with supplemental, IBNR, and ULAE reserves.

Make the following settings for a collective account:

• Key
• Name

Requirements

Collective accounts do not need to have the same degree of detail as the corresponding general ledger accounts. These accounts must be defined in at least one chart of accounts for the G/L account master record.

Standard settings

The collective accounts defined here can control the calculation and distribution of reserves. The collective account is not an additional account assignment field that controls postings to the general ledger.

However, you can activate this functionality by extending the account assignment interface in IMG activity Define Account Assignment Fields for ULAE Reserves.
