Use

In this IMG activity, you assign text objects and text IDs to a form level of a claim document. You therefore also assign the form level of the claim document with the sample text modules of each text object and each text ID. You can then use these sample text modules as free text modules (see IMG activity Create SAPscript Sample Text Modules).

SAP delivers fixed form classes, on which an application form (a claim document in this case) is based. The form levels that you can use as custom text levels in an application form are already defined in these form classes. Free text levels are the items in a form, for which a sample text module is output as a free text module, meaning that the user can add free text here.

You use the text ID assigned in this IMG activity to specify for each free text level of the form which claim subobject category is assigned to this free text level. You can only enter free texts for subobjects in this category.

In Customizing, you assign, for example, the text object ICL and the text ID C for the claim subobject category Claim to the form level CLSAMPLEC of the claim document Claim Opened Letter. If you now call up the claim document Claim Opened Letter in Claims Management (you are thus in the claim subobject category Claim) you need to proceed as follows:

  1. Use the right mouse button to click on the claim header in the navigation tree, and choose Send Document. The system displays the Documents screen.
  2. Select the claim document Claim Opened Letter and choose the Print Preview |@3G@. On the next dialog box Free Text Entry, the system displays the sample text modules in the Sample Module field that you assigned to the text object ICL and the text ID C in the IMG activity Create SAPscript Sample Text Modules. You can use these sample text modules as free text (user-defined) modules.
  3. Select the required sample text module. In the free text field you can alter the text to suit your requirements.
  4. When you save this changed text, the system generates a new user-defined text module. This is defined as a standard text in the system and is assigned to this claim subobject.

Note:

You need to use the text IDs as specified in Claims Management (in TICL013) for claim subobject categories:

  • C = Claim subobject category Claim
  • D = Claim subobject category Damaged Object
  • I = Claim subobject category Claim Item
  • P = Claim subobject category Payment
  • PA = Claim subobject category Participants
  • S = Claim subobject category Subclaim.
