Use
In this IMG activity you define whether the claimed amount with individual invoice items should be reimbursed inclusive or exclusive of value-added tax.
Make the following settings for such a type of tax calculation with invoice items:
- Key of tax calculation type
- Sales tax code used to define the tax rate in FI (financials) as well
- Specify whether the claimed amount should be reimbursed inclusive or exclusive of value-added tax
- Name of tax calculation type
In claims processing, you define the type of tax calculation for the individual invoice items on the Invoice screen in the SalesTaxCalc(I) field. In the F4 input help the system displays all the types of tax calculation that you defined in this IMG activity.

You have performed the IMG activity Define Tax Codes for Sales/Purchases in FI Customizing (IMG path: SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Calculation -> Define Tax Codes for Sales/Purchases)
