Use
In this IMG activity you define external catalogs for the procurement process.
Make the following settings for a catalog:
- Key of the catalog
- Name of the catalog
- URL of the catalog
- For each catalog define the possible calling structures, in other words data that is transferred to the catalog when the catalog is called.
The definition of the call structure is based on the definition for the Open Catalog Interface (OCI).
In IMG activity Configure Benefit Type Trees assign catalogs defined here to an object type, depending on the benefit type.
On the Claimed Items screen in claims processing you can call an external catalog. In this catalog you can select the goods or services that need to be procured.
An exchange of data takes place between the Claims Management system and the external catalog system. You can modify the data in an implementation of BAdI ICL_CATALOGS.
