The topics for notes that are defined here are available immediately in the application.

If you want to restrict the topics for notes to specific internal claim/subclaim types, you can assign them to a subclaim type in IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types at the level of Subclaim -> Permitted Topics for Notes.

If the topics should also be restricted for notes at claim header level, a "blank/space" subclaim must be set up in processing at subclaim level and the topic must then be assigned to this subclaim.

If you do not wish to make any restriction at claim/subclaim levels, all topics defined here are available in note creation.

The determination of selectable topics takes place in a three-stage process:

  1. Search for note topics at subclaim level
  2. Search for note topics at internal claim type level
    (if nothing is found at subclaim level)
  3. Use all defined note topics
    (if nothing is found at internal claim type level)
