Use
In this IMG activity you define the possible faults of the policyholder available in the Claims Management system.
You can use the faults defined here as follows:
- For the Party at fault from the point of view of the insurance company
In IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types you assign the permitted causes of loss to an internal claim type and also a fault from the point of view of the insurance company to each cause of loss.
When a claim handler enters a cause of loss on the Origin of Loss screen, the system automatically fills the fault field with the fault that you defined in the internal claim type for this cause of loss. Users are not able to change the fault manually.
- For the Party at fault from the point of view of the policyholder
In the PH View of Fault field on the Origin of Loss screen, the faults available for selection are those that you defined in this IMG activity. In this case, you do not need to assign the fault to an internal claim type.
