Use

In this IMG activity you define the coverage referrals available in the Claims Management system.

Make the following settings for each coverage referral:

  • Key of coverage referral
  • Name of coverage referral
  • For each coverage referral you can define reasons that users can apply for overruling coverage referrals. These reasons are displayed to users in the F4 input help, regardless of
    • the internal claim type
    • whether the coverage referral was generated automatically by the system or entered manually by the user

You can use the coverage referrals defined here for the following:

  • Actions in the BRF (Business Rule Framework)

    For example, in the BRF you define the rule that the driver of the vehicle involved in an accident must not be younger than 18. If the rule check delivers the value TRUE, meaning that the driver is younger than 18, you can then define an action of the type Create Coverage Referral. In this case the system automatically generates a coverage referral.

  • Manual coverage referral

    In IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types you can define at subclaim level the permitted manual coverage referrals for an internal claim type
