Use
In this IMG activity you define the possible damage descriptors for each damage category.
Make the following settings for each damage descriptor:
- Damage category to which the damage descriptor is assigned
- Key of the damage descriptor
- Name of the damage descriptor
- Specify whether this is a simple damage descriptor
- You can also assign images to damage descriptors.
You can make the following settings for images here:
- Specify where the relevant image should be positioned in the overall image. There can only be six positions to which different images should be assigned.
- For each damage descriptor, define an image for both a damaged and an undamaged object.
Only six image assignments are possible as damage descriptors for each damage category (see IMG activity Upload and Save Picture Files).
In IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types you define which of the damage descriptors defined here are permitted. You do this for each subclaim type on the Damaged Objects level.
Whether the damage descriptors are displayed in the Claims Management system as an image or as a table depends on the screen sequences that you defined in IMG activity Internal Claim Type: Specify Claim Handler Group and Screen Sequences for Expert Mode at the Damaged Object level. See the Damage Descriptors document in the Application Help for the Claims Management system (Path: Claims Management -> Claim -> P & C Concepts -> Damaged Objects/Injured Persons -> Damage Descriptors ).
Requirements
If you want to use damage categories that are not delivered as standard by SAP, you must have created them in IMG activity Enhance Damage Categories.
If you want to assign images to the damage descriptors, you must firstly perform IMG activity Upload and Save Picture Files.
