Use

In this IMG activity you create sample text modules that you want to use as a template for user-defined text modules.

Make the following settings:

1. Enter a name for the text module. You can select an existing sample text module from the F4 input help.

2. Assign the sample text module to a text object and a text ID.

3. Create or change the sample text module in the SAPscript editor and save your data.

When you select a sample text module in claims processing, you can change the text as you wish in the user-defined text field. When you save this changed text, the system generates a new user-defined text module. This is saved in the system as standard text.

Requirements

If you want to use own text objects and text IDs, you must have performed IMG activity Define Text Objects and Text IDs.

Standard settings

Activities

To make sample text modules available to the Claims Management system:

  1. Define text objects and text IDs for sample text modules (IMG activity Define Text Objects and Text IDs for Sample Text Modules)
  2. Create sample text modules and assign these to a text object and a text ID (IMG activity Create SAPscript Sample Text Modules ).

Note: For the differences log, in this IMG activity you can assign the sample text modules to text objects and text IDs that you have not defined yourself, as all sample text modules must be assigned to text object TEXT and text ID ST.

  3. The following step depends on whether you want to create sample text modules for use of the differences log, or as user-defined text modules for a form level of a claim document.
    • Sample text modules for use of the differences log
    • To define sample text modules for use of the differences log

  1. In IMG activity Differences Log: Assign Sample Text Modules to Category assign sample text modules to a text object and text ID that you have defined yourself (a category).
  2. In IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types you assign the text object and text ID (category) at claim header level to a claim item grouping category.
  3. In the F4 input help in claims processing, the system displays those sample text modules of the text object and text ID (category) that you assigned to this claim item grouping category.
If you want to use own claim item grouping categories, you must first define these in IMG activity Define Claim Item Grouping Categories.
  • Sample text modules as user-defined text modules for a form level of a claim document
  • To use sample text modules for form levels of a claim document, assign the text object and text ID to the relevant form level of the claim document (IMG activity Assign Text Object and Text ID to a Form Level of a Claim Document).
When you call a claim document in claims processing (such as a claim opened letter), in the F4 input help the system displays those sample text modules of the text object and text ID that you assigned to the relevant form level of the claim document. You can then use these sample text modules as user-defined text modules.
  • Assign text object and text ID to form level of a claim document
  • Note:
If you want to create sample modules as user-defined text modules for a form level of a claim document, you must use the exact same text IDs as assigned by the Claims Management system for subobject categories (in TICL013).
C = Claim subobject category Claim
D = Claim subobject category Damaged object
I = Claim subobject category Claim item
P = Claim subobject category Payment
PA = Claim subobject category Participants
S = Claim subobject category Subclaim
