Use
In this IMG activity you define new facts capture categories if you want to use structured facts capture in other areas to those provided by SAP (see table entries in this IMG activity).
Make the following settings for each facts capture category:
- Enter the key ICL for the Claims Management system in the Appl. (Application) field.
- Specify the key of the facts capture category.
- Specify the name of the facts capture category.
- Specify the function text of the facts capture category, in other words, the text that is displayed on the button on the relevant screen. If you select this button in the application, the system displays the appropriate question sequence that has been defined.
- Specify the view in which the facts capture category is used.
The facts capture category indicates the place in the Claims Management system where you can enter additional details on facts using question sequences that you have defined yourself. You define which question sequence is displayed in IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types . There you assign one or several question sequences to an internal claim type, dependent on the facts capture category.
You create the question sequences themselves in IMG activity Configure Structured Facts Capture .
You can view documentation for all of the facts capture categories provided by SAP. You can also create your own documentation for facts capture categories that you define yourself.
Display Existing Documentation
- Select the line with the relevant facts capture category
- Select the @0S@ button with the quick information Display Documentation
Create Documentation
1. In the SAP Easy Access menu double-click on Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Utilities -> Documention. The Document Maintenance: Initial Screen appears.
2. In the Settings section, in the Document Class field, use the F4 help to select General Text.
3. In the Document section above, in the Name field, enter the following key:
- ICL_TBSFC004T_<two-digit key of facts capture category>
ICL stands for the Claims Management application, and TBSFC004T for the table name
Example: ICL_TBSFC004T_DO is the correct entry for documentation on facts capture category DO Damaged Objects.
4. Select the Create button.
5. Create your documentation on the next screen.
Consider the following:
- SAP suggests that you use the following template:
- "Use" section, in which the following questions need to be answered:
- In which business context is facts capture required? Which business facts should be checked?
- "Line Reference section", in which the following question needs to be answered:
- Is facts capture insurance line-dependent or cross-line?
- "Occurrence" section, in which the following question needs to be answered:
- In which view of a screen (BDT) is facts capture used (view, section, screen sequence)?
- Type of question sequence section, in which the following question needs to be answered:
- Which type of question sequence has been defined (standard question group or quick question group)?
- "Example" section, in which possible question and answer pairs are listed.
As the paragraph format for the relevant section, choose UT HT Chapter Header.
Of course, you can use your own template to create own documentation.
- For information on text processing with SAPscript editors, select menu path Help -> Application Help.
6. Save your entries.
The documentation is then linked with the relevant facts capture category and is displayed in the IMG activity when you execute the steps under Display Existing Documentation.
Standard settings
This table contains entries that are used by the programs in the Claims Management component. Changing or deleting entries supplied by SAP constitutes a modification to the program. Such modifications are generally not necessary and should be avoided, as they can lead to errors.
You can create new entries in the customer namespace (identifier begins with "Y" or "Z"). These usually only have an effect on the component if you program using these values in the corresponding extensions of the program.
Example
- Damaged objects
- Obligations of driver
- Automobile: Peril/Object/Location
- Loss location
- Cause of loss
- Claim item grouping
