Use
In this IMG activity you can define own benefit catalog item types in addition to those predefined by SAP.
You need benefit catalog item types for the business-related classification of a catalog item. Specify the relevant item type in maintenance of the benefits, services, and fees catalog item.
Requirements
Standard settings
This table contains entries that are used by the programs in the Claims Management component. Changing or deleting entries supplied by SAP constitutes a modification to the program. Such modifications are generally not necessary and should be avoided, as they can lead to errors.
You can create new entries in the customer namespace (identifier begins with "Y" or "Z"). These usually only have an effect on the component if you program using these values in the corresponding extensions of the program.
Using item type Benefits/Services/Fees Catalog Header (with the key CATA) you can maintain attributes that are valid for all catalog items, such as the points value in a fee catalog. Create a "virtual" item and assign the item type Benefits/Services/Fees Catalog Header (CATA) to this virtual item.
