Use

Note: This IMG activity is only relevant if you change the delivered sample customizing (for example, if you want to change the text of the task) or if you do not want to use the delivered sample customizing at all. If you do use the sample customizing, you do not have to do anything in this IMG activity. The system used the resubmission task delivered by SAP in the sample customizing.

In this IMG activity you can define a task for resubmission of an appraisal.

On the Appraisal Order screen in claims processing you can enter a date for resubmission of the appraisal. If you enter such a resubmission date, the system automatically creates the task that you defined in this IMG activity (like the task of Check Receipt of Appraisal).

This task is displayed in the list of pending tasks and has the stated resubmission date as the due date.

Requirements

You have executed IMG activity Configure Tasks/Log Entries and Activities.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. In this IMG activity, define the task for resubmission of an appraisal.
  2. In the BRF (Business Rule Framework), adjust the corresponding rules at the following events:
    • Event IG001 (Create Claim Item Grouping)
    • Event IG002 (Change Claim Item Grouping)

      Proceed as follows:

  1. Call the BRF (transaction BRF)
  2. Double-click to call event IG001 (Create Claim Item Grouping)
  3. Choose the relevant insurance line of business.
  4. Create a new expression analagously to expression 0APRCO (Check Receipt of Appraisal).
    5. In this new expression, continue to use the anomaly 0APOR0 (Resubmission Date Exists for Appraisal Order).
    You can define an own task for resubmission (with your own text, for example).
  5. Store this new expression in the place of expression 0APRCO (Check Receipt of Appraisal).
    6. Note: The gate expression 0APOR1 remains unchanged.
  6. Repeat steps b-d for event IG002 (Change Claim Item Grouping)
