Use
In this IMG activity you assign an internal claim type to a combination of policy product and incident type.
Note:
In this IMG activity you only make this assignment. The other settings for the configuration of policy products are not relevant at this point. You make these settings in the Configure Policy Products IMG activity.

- On the initial screen select the policy product that should form the internal claim type together with the incident type.
- Choose Change.
- In the navigation tree, navigate to the Determination of Internal Claim Type node.
- Assign an incident type to the policy product.
- Assign an internal claim type to the combination of policy product and incident type.
Example
- You can define a new internal claim type for every combination of policy product and incident type. Products A and B are completely independent of one another.

- You can use internal claim types for several products. Products A and B only differ in their rules with incident type Accident. Breakdowns (roadside assistance coverage) and glass damage are treated absolutely identically.
