Use

In this IMG activity, you can change the sequence of screens in the Claims Management system (or parts of screens). You can also delete superfluous subsections of a screen.

Activities

If you call up this IMG activity, a navigation tree is displayed.

Under the first node in the navigation tree, you can see all the screen sequence categories that are dependent on the internal claim type. If you expand the first node, you can navigate to the screen sequence that you want to change. All changes made are valid for the specific combination of internal claim type, claim processing mode and processing clerk group under this node.

The remaining nodes on the top level are the screen sequence categories that are independent of the internal claim type. If you change the underlying screen sequences, these changes are valid for all users in the Claims Management system, who have logged on this client in which the changes were made.

In order to process a screen sequence, double-click on the node for the desired screen sequence (or choose the Select icon). This calls up the actual configuration tool for processing the selected screen sequence.

The following functions are available:

  1. Choose processing mode:
One screen layout mode is available, and one screen sequence mode. Activating the screen configurer takes you to the screen layout mode, in which you execute the layout for screens. Choose Goto -> Screen sequence or Screen layout, to switch between the two modes.
  2. Choose view type in screen layout mode:

  • In the screen layout mode, choose individual screens from the screen sequence in the lower half of the window.
  • Choose Settings -> Layout view, Normal view or Grouping view.
    • The normal view includes the most important input and output fields that are grouped to views (symbolized by black borders), which are themselves grouped to sections (symbolized by white borders). The view frame remains out of sight, outside the screen configuration, but the section frame and its title appears in the application.
    • The view frame is not visible in the layout view.
    • In the grouping view, only view frames (with the descriptions of the views) and section frames can be seen, without any input and output fields.

  1. Help function during Drag & Drop:
A Drag & Drop function is available for changing the screen layout, and it permits sections and view to be shifted on individual screens, and to be moved between different screens. The view (or section) affected by the Drag is defined in the background.
The configuration of sections and views is therefore restricted by the specified general conditions. The point at which the view (or section) is added is marked by a red line. In order to get an overview of the permitted items, you can position the cursor on the Help button during the Drag. The system displays an explanation of the points at which addition is permitted.
  2. Change section name:
You can change the names of sections, by selecting the current name. An additional window appears, in which you can enter the new name. Choose Continue.
  3. Use Cut & Paste function:

  • Choose Cut to cut views or sections out of a screen and transfer them to a temporary storage folder.
  • Choose Copy to copy views or sections into the temporary storage folder.
  • Choose Drag to add the view or section from the temporary storage folder to the screen layout. This means that every view should only appear once on each screen.

  1. Use add functionality:

  • Choose Edit -> Add. Use the window to add new sections and views. The addition of more sectins takes place using Drag & Drop with the cut symbol, from the addition window to a screen.
  • You also have the option of displaying a list of views that have not been used but that are available in the configuration - choose Unused SAP Views. These can also be added to a screen by using Drag & Drop from the list.
  • Choose Unused SAP Views again, to return to the original addition mode.

  1. Recourse to the standard SAP configuration:

  • Choose Edit -> SAP Standard to load the screen configuraiton originally supplied by SAP. This means that the current screen configuration is lost. You can edit the standard configuration, or you can use it without making any changes.

  1. Edit screen sequence mode:
The screen sequence mode displays the sequence of the individual screens in processing. You can change the position of screens by using Drag & Drop.

  • Choose Edit -> Add. The addition window appears. You can use Drag & Drop on the screen symbol you add an additional screen to the screen sequence.
  • You can delete screens that are no longer used, by choosing Delete. Views that remain on the deleted screen, which disappear completely from the screen configuration after the deletion transaction, appear in the list of unused SAP views, and you can then add them to the screen configuration again.

  1. Change screen name:

  • You can change the names of screens by selecting the current name. An additional window appears, in which you enter the new name. Choose Continue.

  1. Cancel and transfer:

  • If you choose Edit -> Cancel, you leave the screen configuration without transferring the current screen configuration.
  • If you choose Screen configuration -> Transfer, you leave the screen configuration, but the current screen configuration is transferred. You leave the screen configurer and return to the BP role selection. This is where you can select another BP role for screen configuration, or save and store all current screen configurations on the database.

Further Notes

The sequence of screen selection buttons in screen layout mode is generally independent of the actual screen sequence, as it appears in the screen sequence mode.
