Use

In this IMG activity, you can upload picture files to the system from presentation servers. You can use these picture files to create damage descriptors for a vehicle, in the form of an overall picture. This consists of six individual pictures (sub-pictures). Each of these shows a part of the vehicle which you can mark as damaged.

Requirements

Create 6 JPG picture files with a size (width x height) of approximately 69 x 41 points (1.82 x 1.08 cm) on your local PC. We recommend a resolution of 38 points/cm using True Color (24 Bit). You can use MS Photo Editor or MS Paint, for example, as processing programs.

Standard settings

The following twelve picture files are available as standard, with the properties listed above under 'Preconditions':

  • ICL_CAR_FR
  • ICL_CAR_ML,
  • ICL_CAR_MR
  • ICL_CAR_RL
  • ICL_CAR_RR
  • ICL_CAR_FL_DAM
  • ICL_CAR_FR_DAM
  • ICL_CAR_ML_DAM
  • ICL_CAR_MR_DAM
  • ICL_CAR_RL_DAM
  • ICL_CAR_RR_DAM

You do not have to upload these picture files to the system. The picture files that end with "DAM" show the damaged state, and the others the undamaged state.

Activities

  • To display available picture files before uploading your own, set the Only display available pictures indicator, then click on the Execute |@15@ icon.
  • To upload your own picture files,

  1. Deactivate Only display available pictures. Otherwise, the picture files are not uploaded
  2. Enter the full path and the name of the source picture file on the local PC
  3. Enter a name for the loaded file in the Claims Management system
