Use
In this IMG activity, you define role profiles. Role profiles bundle performer roles into groups that are relevant for claims processing.
Requirements
You can only assign those performer roles to a performer profile that you have already defined in IMG activity Define Performer Roles and Assign to Tasks.
Standard settings
Activities
Define the required profiles by entering an ID and a name for the profile. Mark the profile, choose Assignment Role -> Profile and assign one or more roles.
Configure the assigned roles with the attributes that are available so that the roles behave differently in claims processing. The attributes can be assigned either individually or combined, and have the following significance:
Performer assignment is mandatory
In claims processing, a performer must be assigned to this role. The assignment can also be done automatically through early or later performer determination. If no performer has been assigned when the user saves, the system uses the "performer for non-assignable tasks".
Additional display in lists
Performers in this role are displayed in the results list of the claim search in addition to the queried performer. The attribute can only be assigned once within a role profile.
Performer for non-assignable tasks
The performer in this role is assigned all tasks for which no other performer was found when the user saved. The attribute must be assigned just once per role profile. Within a claim, different roles can be given this indicator at claim or subclaim level. The assignment of performers for such roles is always mandatory.
Confirmation upon change of performer
With roles with this attribute, any manual changes made to the assigned performer must be confirmed explicitly by the user wishing to make the change. This is to avoid changes being made by mistake.
Subclaim inherits performer
At subclaim level such roles automatically inherit the assigned performer from the role of the same name at claim level, providing one exists. Already assigned performers (through early determination or manual assignment, for example) are not overwritten. This indicator is ignored at claim level.
Notification with new assignment of performer
In the event of a new assignment, performers in this role receive a notification from the system.
Notes: This notification can be configured in the Business Rule Framework (BRF) with event RBP_CHANGED. By default, action 9_RBP_CHANGED is executed for this event, and with every change of a role-based performer it writes an entry in the log file of the claim.
