Use

In this IMG activity you define benefit type groups and assign the required benefit types to these benefit type groups.

Make the following settings for a benefit type group:

  • Key of benefit type group
  • Name of benefit type group
  • Specify whether the benefit types of this benefit type group belong to the compensation category or to the expenses category.

    A benefit type group can only contain benefit types of the same category, in other words, only Compensation benefit types, or only Expenses benefit types.

  • Assign the desired benefit types to the benefit type group.

In IMG activity Define Benefit Type Determination, you assign the benefit type groups defined here to an internal claim type, or to a subclaim type and claim item grouping category.

Requirements

You have executed IMG activity Define Benefit Types.

    • Per diem hospital benefit
    • Convalescence benefit
