Use this step to configure tolerances for availability control in Grants Management (GM).

In a tolerance profile you group together the percentage tolerance limits for the different activity groups and availability control actions. You can also set individual entries on Inactive.

You can choose whether the availability control responds with a warning or an error message.

The active availability control searches for matching entries as follows:

  1. Determine the tolerance profiles used.
  2. Derive the activity group
  3. Determine all matching entries (system responses and tolerance limits)
  4. Ascertain response when one or more of these tolerance limits is exceeded.
  5. Suppress the response found if the Inactive indicator is set for the entry.

Standard settings

If no matching entry for a tolerance profile is found, the following standard setting is used:

  • Response: Error Message
  • Relative Tolerance Limit: 0%
  • Active Check
