Use

Use this step to apply the derivation tool to arriving at the activity groups you want to use in Grants Management (GM) availability control.

Requirements

You must have created the objects you want to use in the derivation rules.

Standard settings

Activities

In the Display Strategy screen, switch to change mode, choose Create Step, and proceed as follows:

  1. Stipulate Derivation Rule in the dialog box.
  2. In the rule definition screen, specify:

  • A name for the new derivation rule
  • The source fields from which you want to derive activity groups
  • Activity groups as the target fields
  • Any Conditions to be observed
  • The Attributes you want to apply, if any
