Use

In this IMG activity you create an RFC connection for access to a geodatabase.
The geodatabase provides the geographic coordinates for specific addresses.

These coordinates are used by the following functions in Travel Management:

  • Airport search: Searches for the IATA locations of airports near a given address.
  • Rental car provider location search: Searches for the IATA locations of rental car providers in the vicinity of a given address.
  • Hotel search: Searches for all IATA locations in the vicinity of an address and determines the distances to all hotels from the address.

Standard settings

Activities

Create an RFC connection.

  1. Choose Create.
  2. Enter IGS_RFC_DEST as the RFC destination.
  3. Select T (for TCP/IP) as the connection type.
  4. Enter a description.
  5. On the Technical Settings tab, select Registered Server Program and enter the program ID IGS.xxx.xxx.xxx. We recommend using the program ID IGS followed by the IP address of the IGS server.
