Requirements

As part of the local currency changeover, you will need to carry out certain preparation activities for the Treasury applications (such as making Customizing settings).

Overview of preparation activities:

  • Accounting preparations: Make adjustments
  • Make settings in Customizing (TR-TM-SE)
    • Define flow types
    • Assign flow types to flow categories
    • If necessary, define currency units
  • Disclose currency reserves / Determine realized gains and losses (if not yet calculated for individual currency types): Start report program RFVWBEW1 (TR-TM-SE)
  • Reconcile TR-TM-SE and FI G/L balances
  • File management (TR-LO)
    • Remove loans from rollover file
  • Reconcile TR-LO and FI G/L balances
  • Convert limits

Recommendation

To access the introductory documentation for the euro changeover for Treasury applications, choose:

R/3 Application menu > Help > R/3 Library > TR - Treasury
> Changeover to Euro.

To access the central documentation for the euro changeover directly, choose:

R/3 Application menu > Help > R/3 Library > CA - Cross-Application Components > European Monetary Union: Euro (CA-EUR)

followed by the corresponding component.
