Description
This report is used to compare sales values between the material view and the accounting view for value-only materials. It is carried out automatically after conversion to the euro and therefore should not be started manually.
The program checks the value of the stocks at storage location and plant level. In the tables MARD (storage location level) and MARC (plant level), the following fields are included for valuation:
MARD:
- VKLAB (unrestricted-use storage location stock)
- VKUMC (stock in transfer - storage location to storage location)
MARC:
- VKUML (stock in transfer at plant level)
- VKTRW (stock in transit)
If the program finds differences between the total valuation for the individual stock quantities and the sales value, the sales value is updated in the accounting view.
Requirements
The program should be run in the postprocessing phase (after the actual conversion). During this phase, it can be started without using other programs. However, while the program is running, you should not carry out any valuation-relevant postings, as the program does not block the valuation segments.
Due to the length of time it takes to run the program, it should be started in the background.
Output
For each valuation area, the program specifies the value-only materials for which the sales value was updated.
