Use

In this Customizing activity you define the status of warranty claims in the dealer portal. You can decide on the following:

  • Whether or not a dealer portal user can change a warranty claim with a certain status
  • To which query a warranty claim with a certain status belongs in the dealer portal (for example, new, in process, accepted, rejected)
  • Assign a processing status indicating which status the warranty claim has reached in the back-end system
  • Assign a decision code indicating whether a warranty claim version or an item in a warranty claim version is accepted or rejected

The back-end status and the back-end decision code determine the warranty claim status in the dealer portal.

You have defined decision codes for the back-end system in the Customizing activity Define Decision Codes.

You have defined processing statuses for the back-end system in the Customizing activity Define Processing Statuses.
