Use

In this Customizing activity you define actions that you require for warranty claim processing in the dealer portal.

You must assign an action in the dealer portal to a warranty claim action in the back-end system. A dealer portal user can only trigger an action in the dealer portal if the action control allows processing the action in the back-end system.

Requirements

  • You have defined warranty claim actions for the back-end system in the Customizing activity Define Actions.
  • You have defined action controls for the actions taking place in the back-end system in the Customizing activity Define Action Controls.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Define an action code for the dealer portal (front-end system).
  2. Assign an action code defined for the back-end system to the action code for the dealer portal.
  3. Enter a description for the action code for the dealer portal.
