In this IMG activity, you define groups of allowed and mandatory document types for collateral agreement types. These combinations are used as an internal checklist to validate the business logic for document details of collateral agreements.
Note: To use document type sets to validate business partner details, you must have defined plausibility checks for these combinations of allowed and mandatory document types. You can define plausibility checks in the Customizing activity Define Plausibility Checks.
Example
Each agreement in Collateral Management may have one or more documents associated with it. These documents can belong to different document types. For an agreement type say Land Charge, you may need to maintain the following document type assignments:
- Land charge certificate
- Enforceable copy
- Document creating the land charge
Whenever you create an agreement of type Land charge, you can maintain documents of type specified above.
