In this activity, you define the number range for the group. For this object, automatic number assignment is provided in the Warehouse Management system.
(With regard to creation and further processing of transfer orders for a wave pick, the wave pick corresponds to the group.)

Requirements
Standard settings
In der SAP standard system, the number range interval is preset for warehouse number 001.
Recommendation
Once number ranges have been defined, they can no longer be changed, or at least not that easily, if the respective objects are filled with data.
Keep in mind the quantities that are to be entered in the long term. Create the number range intervals accordingly.

Further notes
No single group number range may overlap with the number range of the wave picks (see section Number range for wave picks).
