In this menu option, you define the number interval for the number range for picking waves.
When you create a picking wave, the system assigns a unique number that identifies the picking wave. The number comes from the number range that is provided for the picking waves.
Only internal number assignment is provided for picking waves. The SAP system automatically assigns a consecutive number from the defined number range.

Activities
To define a number range, you must enter a new number interval. Proceed as follows:
- Enter an alphanumeric key of maximum two digits.
- Enter the limits of the number interval. The individual number intervals must not overlap. Each number can only exist once.
- Afterwards, enter the key of the number range for the respective groups (see section "Define group types for picking waves"
Further notes
The number range of the picking waves must not overlap a number range of the reference number (see the section "Number ranges for reference number").
