In this step, you define the condition tables for message records for arrangements.
Example
You can control message determination dependent on a particular combination of purchasing organization and condition granter.
Requirements
Standard settings
The following condition tables are provided in the standard system:
- 160 Purchasing organization and condition granter
- 161 Sales org./distribution channel/division and rebate recipient
Recommendation
You should retain the standard condition tables unchanged. If you want to make changes, you should create new condition tables. To do this, copy an existing condition table and make the necessary changes.
Activities
- Check the extent to which you can use the standard condition tables for message control.
- If you want to create a new condition table, proceed as follows:
- Enter the name of the table that you want to create. Take account of the name space conventions.
- When you create without reference, enter the table type (e.g. pool table) for the condition table.
- Enter a description for the condition table.
- From the list of allowed fields, select the fields you require for the condition table.
- Generate the new condition table.
- Enter the condition tables in the access sequences. This creates the link between the message condition, access sequence, and message condition record.
