Use

If conflicts occur when distributing data in the ALE distribution unit, the following central settings for the ALE distribution unit could provide a solution:

  • Delay Synchronized Jobs

    If you increase the delay time, you can prevent possible object locks and overflow of the lock table.

  • Send Large IDoc Groups

    Combining IDocs in groups when sending makes it easier to trace the processing status, especially if there is a large number of objects to be distributed.

Standard settings

SAP delivers the following settings:

  • Delay for synchronized jobs:    30 s
  • IDoc group size when sending:    100

Activities

To maintanin the central settings, proceed as follows:

  1. Select Display/Change.
  2. Enter the following data:
    1. Delay for synchronized jobs in seconds
    2. Number of IDocs per IDoc group
  3. Save your entries.
